If we had to do a top 5 of clubs in Bangkok, Sing Sing Theater will be definitely in the list. Why?
First, for it's Design out of this world. Sing Sing is not a club like others.
As soon as you push the doors, you enter a new world. The decoration, the dancers, the lightning... everything is well thought and it's a fresh breath in a world where clubs tend to look all the same.
The club was designed by Ashley Sutton, the creative mind behind Iron Fairies in Thonglor, Maggie Choo's in Silom and other popular locations throughout Asia.
He's got a touch that bring fantasy and will make you forget you're in Bangkok.
If you've never been there or visited any venues designed by him, the decor itself is worth the visit.
The Beautiful Crowd. Sing Sing Bangkok attracts expats, tourist and locals, but mostly on the high end of the spectrum.
Music and Events. There's always something going in Sukhumvit 45.
Hip Hop by Bangkok Invaders on Tuesdays, Ladies Night on Thursday and they often have international on Wednesdays and themed parties on Weekends.
Price: ฿฿฿. Even though entrance is free, you're gonna have to spend at least 3,500฿ for a bottle and 200฿ for a drink.
Note that all prices are subject to 10% Service charge + 7% VAT, keep that in mind when you're about to buy a bottle or you might be surprised when the bill arrive.
When to go and for which occasion?
Any night of the week is good to go, it's almost always packed, even on Tuesdays.
Best time to go would be around midnight, or a bit earlier if you want to open a bottle.
Don't be scared if it's empty when you get there, as most of the clubs (that close after 2am) it usually get busy between midnight and 1am.
If you plan to book a table, do it well in advance especially for weekends, the club is really popular and tables are extremely limited.
And if you're coming with a large group, pick a table upstairs to have more space.
